Laser Ingrown Hair Treatment
Ingrown hair removal has always been a tricky issue. After all, ingrown hairs are often the result of traditional methods of trying to eliminate the strands that appear on the skin in the first place. Previously, the removal of unwanted or excess face or body hair meant resorting to plucking, waxing or shaving, all of which can sometimes cause individual follicles to grow back into the skin, creating the painful red bumps we recognize as ingrown.

What is an ingrown hair and how do I treat it?
An ingrown hair is produced when a strand does not completely erupt from the follicle, growing back on itself instead, under the skin. Although the condition appears most commonly in areas where the skin is shaved or waxed, it can crop up anywhere.
How does laser hair removal get rid of the problem?
A laser treatment kills the hair follicle, so that it can no longer support hair growth. Following your session, the damage caused by the wayward follicle will heal naturally. Even if it had unfortunately become infected, a single session can kick start the healing process and you will see results almost immediately.
